1. Data We Collect

Uploaded Files: When you upload a PDF, we temporarily store it on our servers to process and extract data. Uploaded files and exported results are automatically deleted after 7 days.

Email Address: If you choose to subscribe to updates or provide your email during download, we store your email address to send product updates. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Analytics Data: We use PostHog and Vercel Analytics to collect anonymous usage data such as page views, feature usage, and session information. We do not capture IP addresses.

2. How We Process Your Data

Uploaded PDFs are processed on our server using AI to identify and extract structured data (tables, text, numbers). We do not use your documents to train AI models.

3. Cookies

We use cookies for:

• Analytics (PostHog): To understand how our service is used and improve the experience. You can decline analytics cookies via the cookie banner.
• Vercel Analytics: Anonymous performance and usage metrics.
• Theme Preference: We store your light/dark mode preference in localStorage.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

Uploaded PDFs and exported files are automatically deleted 7 days after upload. Email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained according to our analytics providers' policies.

5. Data Security

We use HTTPS for all data transmission. Files are stored in isolated directories per conversion. We do not share your uploaded documents with any third parties other than the AI processing service described above.

6. Your Rights

You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. Since we do not require account creation, most data is automatically deleted after the retention period.
